During these unprecedented times should House Of Glamour Training Academy have to cancel any courses, all courses will be rescheduled to the nearest available date. 

We will honour any course fees / deposits and will transfer your course(s) to the nearest available date.

We apologised for any inconvenience this may cause.

Important information

Please read these terms and conditions, as your contract starts from the date that you book your course online and is legally binding.

It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that the courses you apply for are suitable for your requirements and that you have the pre-requisite qualifications and the ability and competence to be able to achieve the objectives of this course. All student information will be confidential and will not be disclosed to other parties.

It is your responsibility to check that your insurance will cover you for these courses.

Booking a Course

A Booking Fee is required to secure your place, your place cannot be held for you until a Booking Fee is received. 

To enrol on one of our courses you must either pay in full or a non refundable Booking Fee and the remainder to be paid no later than 2 weeks before the course start date.

Failure to pay the balance and any kit cost no later than 2 weeks before training date will result in the loss of your place on the course. You will not be entitled to a refund of your booking fee.

Booking Fees and course payments are non refundable and non transferable.

Failure to attend a confirmed course will result in the loss of any payments made for that course. 

Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of Booking Fee.

Please fill in the booking form with all relevant information. Please make sure this information is correct as it will be used to prepare your certificate, and also allows the tutor to see what prior knowledge you hold.

Paying for your course

You can pay for the course by Paypal (additional handling charge is added), or by BACS. Details will be emailed once booking form is received.

House Of Glamour reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or change the location of the course and, in this unlikely event, will offer you an alternative course date. If students do not attend on the day without prior notice, they will lose, or be responsible for, the full course fee.

Course notes and training

House Of Glamour course notes and training cannot be relied upon for legal interpretation. Neither House Of Glamour nor its employees, trainers or consultants can accept responsibility for the actions of clients, or those of other people reading the course notes, or responsibility for any loss incurred as a result of relying on the course content or the course notes.

The course manual is the property of House Of Glamour and is protected by copyright. You cannot reproduce any of the manual without express written permission from us. You will be in breach of contract by using the manual or teaching the subject from the manual.

Use of kits/products/models are as stated in the course details

Many courses are run on a 1-2-1 basis. In this case a model will be required for your training. It is the student’s responsibility to provide the model and courses will not be refunded in the event of the student being unable to bring a model.

If patch testing is required for courses, you will be given clear instructions of where to purchase the products and how to carry out the patch test. It is the responsibility of the student to carry out the patch test on his/her model. For this reason, kits may be required for some courses. Your model will be asked to complete a consultation form to confirm that this has been carried out. In the event that it has not been carried out, the course may be cancelled and the full training fee will be forfeited.

House Of Glamour reserves the right to decline applications.

All information and prices are correct at the time of print, however, details may be subject to change.

Name changes/Certificate Loss

Correct personal information should be given for certification purposes. Any alterations due to mistakes on certificates or any loss of certificates requiring a renewal will be charged at £20. Lost manuals are charged at £30.

Course Cancellations

We cannot be held responsible for costs or loss of earnings due to course cancellations.

We regret no refunds will be given should you cancel your course.

Booking Fees are Strictly Non Refundable

If you cannot attend the course, 14 days notice must be given, you can then be transferred to another date. Your Booking Fee is Non Refundable. A transfer fee of £15 is charged.

Cancelling on the day of the course – You will be liable for full course payment.

In the event of House Of Glamour cancelling a course (due to tutor sickness or other unforeseeable circumstances) we will offer another set of dates or a full refund.

In the event of a genuine reason for cancellation (proof may be requested) a House Of Glamour request for transfer may be considered at the discretion of House Of Glamour. If a transfer request is granted an administration fee of £15.00 per course will be charged.

Professional Standards

House Of Glamour teaches courses to a high standard adhering to all health and safety standards throughout.

Some courses will require case studies prior to certification.

Certificates are given out to students who have shown competence throughout the course.

House Of Glamour have the right to withhold certificates if the tutor deems the student to not have reached a competent standard.

Case studies will be set and reassessment will be arranged. There may be an additional charge for this.


To practice the therapy that you have just studied by House Of Glamour, valid insurance is needed. Information regarding this will be given to you during your training course.

All courses are accredited through IPHM - International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine.

House Of Glamour Academy cannot be held responsible for any changes in regulations or insurances that may take place that is out of our control and can effect insurances in the future. We give up to date knowledge to the best of our ability to all our learners at the time of booking and participating on the course. We advise all learners to do their own research especially checking with their own insurance company that they will accept this course before booking onto any courses.

Attending the course

You will be expected to turn up on time for the course

It is your responsibility to bring your kit and model for the course.

House Of Glamour does not accept responsibility for supplying models and your full course fee may be forfeited if a model is not provided.

It is your responsibility to ensure you have carried out the patch testing (if required) on your model.

Any medical conditions should be discussed prior to the course, via email with your tutor and noted on your booking form. You should be prepared to give and receive treatments throughout the course to complete and be deemed competent.

Please wear comfortable clothing i.e. salon uniform, black trousers and top.

Flat shoes or socks for footwear.

Short nails are required for massage/holistic courses.

Please wear minimal or no jewellery

Long hair will need to be tied back to perform treatments

Bring photocopies of your main therapy qualification, i.e. massage, beauty, alternatively, these can be emailed to us alongside the booking form.

Any items left will need to be picked up. If they are posted out House Of Glamour holds no responsibility to them arriving and a fee will be charged for postage. Your tutor will keep your items safe for collection but holds no responsibility for loss or damage.


House Of Glamour and its tutors teach to a high standard throughout, it does not diagnose medical conditions and should not be treated as a substitute for medical care.

Contraindications and treatment benefits are discussed as part of the course but are not intended to represent medical advice, nor be deemed as a treatment to cure or prevent disease.

All Manuals have been checked and approved for accreditation through the IPHM - International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, House Of Glamour accepts no responsibility for any direct or indirect loss or damage, foreseeable or otherwise, including any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of this website, or any information contained therein.

Complaints Procedure

In the unlikely event your training course with us does not meet your expectations, in the first instance please email houseofglamourtrainingacademy@gmail.com with the details of your complaint. The complaint will need to be submitted within 48 hours following your training course. You will receive a response within 7 working days.
